Summing up the second competition...

The second competition is over. We are pleased that number of participants is constantly growing. But, unfortunately, we have to note that, at this time, the level of works was a bit lower in comparison with the previous one.

Dear friends! Just to write an algorithm of complicated construction is insufficient. It is necessary to finish your model, that means checking edge coinciding, making edge length equal and chech the grading. We estimate not only your knowledge on system and how you can work with it, but also your approach as designers. Becouse the main goal is to make the apparel fit.

That is why we would be pleased if you would sew your models at least as drafts.

As for algorithm itself and knoledge of language, we would like to see how good you are in using complicated operators ("divide", "dart" etc.). Few participants use these operators actively. But, in any case, we are extremely pleased that you work in LEKO.

Unfortunately, we did not estimate a model sent by Anna Solo. We suppose there is some mistake because the algorithm that was sent was already the "participant" of the previous competition, although the sketch was made for a new model.

Thus, this time there is no top winner. The second winner is asymmetrical draped skirt by Zlatchevskaya's method, and the third winner is the yoke skirt.
